flexmls MLS Setup for Subscription Auto Emails
Here’s how to configure new leads in flexmls.
** After reading this guide, you should create a test subscription for yourself. So that you can verify that you’ve setup everything correctly.
The first step is to CC subscription emails to alerts@mlstextalerts.com
There are two ways of doing this. The preferred option is to create a separate contact record for MLS Text Alerts and enter alerts@mlstextalerts.com as the email address. Since flexmls allows you to send auto email subscriptions to multiple contacts; then this method will allow you to easily choose which clients will receive a text alert from the flexmls subscription setup page.
The second option is to add an additional email address on the client’s contact record. Click the +Add button on the contact record and enter email address alerts@mlstextalerts.com as an additional email address. Make sure that the notify option is turned on.
On the subscription page, select MLS Text Alerts as an additional contact (if you have chosen this option from the previous step).
Enter the 10 digit cell phone number of your buyer somewhere on the subject line when you create the email notification.
Finally (and this is important), make sure the schedule option is set to ASAP.
Click the save button and texts will be automatically sent to your buyers as soon as a new listing is found for them.
