How to Setup a Portal Search

If you are a member of more than one real estate board. Then your account will work for both boards even if they use a different MLS provider. Note that your email address has to be the same in both MLS systems.

The text alerts also stop as well.

We don’t want to disturb your clients at all hours of the night. So we don’t send messages between the hours of 10 pm and 8 am. Any messages that would be sent during those hours are held until 8 am and then they are sent to your client.

To stop alerts from being sent. All you have to do is edit the portal settings and remove the email address that is used CC to mlstextalerts.com

Your portal search results have to be delivered immediately (ASAP) so that your client can immediately receive a text alert. When search results are delivered once a day, there are usually multiple listings in the search results. In this case your client will only receive an alert for the first new listing. That’s because we don’t want to annoy your client with several alerts in a row, from search results that are delivered once a day.

  • Click on my account.
  • Click on Account Details from the navigation menu on the left side of the page.
  • Scroll down to the MLS Settings section and make your changes.
  • Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the screen.
  • Click on my account.
  • Click on My Subscription from the navigation menu on the left side of the page.
  • Scroll down to the Subscription Totals section and click the upgrade or downgrade button.

The easiest way to do this is to set up two separate contacts;  one for each person. Then set up identical portal searches for each contact with their cell phone number.
